Tag customers on submit

Apply tags to the customer record created or matched by the form submission. Useful for segmentation, marketing automation, and customer lists.

How to set up

  1. In the form editor, open the Actions card.

  2. Find the Customer tags field and type one or more tags.

  3. Save.

How tags are applied

After a submission, StoreForms either creates a new customer (if you have Create as customer enabled) or finds an existing one by email, then adds the tags to that customer.

Existing tags on the customer are kept β€” tagging only adds, never removes.
